AFAMSA AND ITS PROJECT ARE RUNNERS-UP IN THE NATIONAL SME OF THE YEAR AWARD.
We are honored to share that AFAMSA has been selected as one of the 21 finalist SMEs in the national phase of the SME of the Year Award 2024, opting for a runner-up in the Sustainable SME category. This prestigious award, organized annually by Banco Santander and the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, recognizes the effort, innovation and impact of small and medium-sized companies on the local and national economy.
AFAMSA 's commitment to sustainability and the environment has been key to achieving this distinction. Throughout our 60-year history, we have implemented responsible practices, focusing on the use of renewable energies, efficiency in production processes and the reduction of environmental impact in all our operations.
In this eighth edition of the award, we have had the honor of competing with more than 1,639 companies from all over Spain, which reinforces our commitment to excellence, quality and innovation in the fish oil and vegetable fat processing sector. Being finalists in this national phase is a recognition of the efforts of our entire team and AFAMSA's commitment to a more sustainable future.
